Spiritual Discourse February 2023, Pimpalner, Maharashtra
Pimpalner, February 2023
Vishav Manav Ruhani Kendra (VMRK) organized a monumental event to commemorate the birth anniversary of our Great Grand Master. Held at the VMRK center in Pimpalner, the highlight was the spiritual discourse given by Sant Baljit Singh Ji on February 6, 2023. This event was hugely anticipated because it was Sant Baljit Singh Ji’s first visit to Pimpalner since the Covid-19 lockdowns in recent years.
The event attracted an immense crowd to Pimpalner which is located deep in the rural area of Maharashtra state in India. The center sits far away from the regular bus and train routes so VMRK sought assistance from the local government authorities to provide frequent bus services. This enabled attendees to be transported safely from the main bus and train stations to a point closest to the center.
From February 1, 2023, people started to arrive in large numbers. Attendees came from Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, and other states of India. By February 5, the eve of the spiritual discourse, the center premises and tents for the scheduled activities and housing were filled to capacity.
VMRK took care to ensure comfort and safety, and to improve the attendee experience. Throughout the event, VMRK offered lodging, wholesome vegetarian food, and other amenities, all free of cost, to everyone who attended. A huge team of volunteers lovingly served the people and ensured a harmonious environment for all.
Several huge tents were set up to accommodate the vast turnout for the spiritual discourse. Seven jumbo display screens were installed throughout these massive tents to give those in the far reaches a closer view of this special occasion. Large video display screens presented the charitable initiatives conducted by the organizations around the world that promote Sant Baljit Singh Ji’s teachings. These presentations gave the audience a glimpse into how Sant Baljit Singh Ji’s teachings are embraced worldwide to serve the local communities in many countries.
Sant Baljit Singh Ji’s arrival in Pimpalner
A few days before the event, Sant Baljit Singh Ji traveled a significant distance from Nawan Nagar in Haryana to Pimpalner to be with the gathering. At the center in Pimpalner, the road from the main entrance into the grounds of the center had been beautifully decorated with rose petals. A huge crowd had already arrived and many gathered with excitement along the main gate and the road lined with rose petals. The anticipation was palpable. When Sant Baljit Singh Ji arrived, the people waiting on the way expressed their joy and showed their love and gratitude with folded hands.
Walking to the satsang tent on February 6
By the evening of February 6, the center was already overflowing with many more people who had arrived to attend the spiritual discourse. Unable to find a spot in the big tents, many people perched on the adjacent hills.
Sant Baljit Singh Ji’s walk to the stage took about 10–12 minutes. As he walked, the people gathered on either side of the pathway to greet Sant Baljit Singh Ji with folded hands. The entire pathway was decorated with flower petals and many colorful rangoli, a traditional Indian art form using flower petals and fine multi-colored powders to draw intricate patterns on the ground or sidewalk.
The spiritual discourse and initiation
The main event in the huge tents started with devotional songs. After this, Sant Baljit Singh Ji addressed the audience and gave a talk for about two hours. His talk centered on reiterating his message from 2022 that apart from God there is no one else in this creation. Sant Baljit Singh Ji said: “Father God is all pervading and the entire creation is complete and perfect in Him, because He Himself is complete and perfect. There is no place in this creation where He is not present. Whatever form that exists, is Him only. Wherever you look, see Him. That which is not seen is Him and that which is seen is also Him.”
After the talk, Sant Baljit Singh Ji walked among the audience for an hour, slowly going from one section to another. The audience greatly appreciated that he walked among them to give darshan.
The next day on February 7, Sant Baljit Singh Ji gave the holy gift of Naam Daan to the spiritual seekers who eagerly received the initiation into the meditation on the inner Light and Sound.
Many people stayed after the main program, gathering in the evenings of February 8 and 9 to sing bhajans (devotional songs). Sant Baljit Singh Ji walked amongst them each evening for two hours, enjoying the devotional music and singing with the crowds gathered.
VMRK appreciated the local administration for providing resources like transportation, fire brigade services, and administrative guidance. VMRK is also grateful to each and every person who participated and served at this event.
Father God is all pervading and the entire creation is complete and perfect in Him, because He Himself is complete and perfect. There is no place in this creation where He is not present. Whatever form that exists, is Him only. Wherever you look, see Him. That which is not seen is Him and that which is seen is also Him.
