Spiritual Discourse March 2025, Nagpur, Maharashtra
Nagpur, March 2025
On March 8, 2025, Sant Baljit Singh Ji delivered a profoundly insightful and inspirational spiritual discourse in Nagpur, Maharashtra, India. The spiritual discourse was the highlight of the event organized by Vishav Manav Ruhani Kendra (VMRK) to commemorate our Grand Master. This annual commemorative event is always highly anticipated as it also marks the annual visit of Sant Baljit Singh Ji to Nagpur. This year’s event attracted a large number of attendees from nearby regions, with many more who traveled long distances from far-off states in India to attend.
Preparations for the event
At VMRK, hospitality is always paramount. Therefore, VMRK meticulously planned and made arrangements to provide a memorable experience for the thousands who attended. The event was too large to be hosted at the VMRK center in Nagpur. Therefore, VMRK arranged event grounds spanning 18 acres, located nearly a kilometer away from the center. Multiple large and small tents were set up for the main event, as well as for lodging, food preparation, food distribution service, and other charitable services. Furthermore, parking facilities were arranged on an additional 12 acres of land near the Nagpur center, along the route to the main event grounds.
Attendees began arriving on March 5, and arrivals steadily increased as the event date approached. VMRK arranged transport connections to help attendees get to/from the event grounds easily and safely. For those arriving by train, VMRK arranged bus services from Nagpur Railway Station. Additionally, VMRK provided free shuttle services for attendees arriving at the nearest metro station. For senior citizens and individuals with special needs, VMRK arranged free shuttle services from the parking area to the event grounds.
The entire route from the center to the parking area and the main event grounds ran parallel to the adjacent highway. For pedestrian safety, VMRK set up a temporary barrier using ropes tied to poles to separate the footpath from the road. This barrier prevented attendees from straying off the footpath onto the road. Additionally, VMRK volunteers were stationed along the route to look after the safety of attendees and manage the traffic flow.
Evening program
On March 8, the day of the spiritual discourse, the whole center and event grounds had been completely decorated with colorful lights. Eight large LED screens and audio equipment were installed across the event grounds to give attendees a closer view of the program, especially for those seated far away from the dais.
From the afternoon, the crowd began converging at the main event tent in eager anticipation of Sant Baljit Singh Ji’s arrival. The seating area was divided into multiple sections to accommodate the crowd effectively. Starting at 3:00 pm, the big LED screens began screening videos of VMRK’s charitable initiatives and highlights of past devotional events while attendees watched in awe and excitement.
The evening program began at 6:30 pm with performances of devotional songs. Before long, the tent was brimming with attendees. As more people continued to arrive, VMRK volunteers laid out mats outside the main event tent to accommodate them. Shortly before the arrival of Sant Baljit Singh Ji, attendees were seated way past the main tent, covering the entire open area from the tent to the entrance of the event grounds.
Sant Baljit Singh Ji’s arrival
As Sant Baljit Singh Ji arrived, and started to walk to the dais, he stopped several times, smiling and greeting the attendees seated even at the farthest reaches of his pathway. The assembled attendees became exuberantly happy as they watched Sant Baljit Singh Ji walk past. They expressed their joy in various ways: some folded their hands in reverence, while others clapped enthusiastically.
After reaching the dais, Sant Baljit Singh Ji walked up to the two portraits of our Grand Master and Great Grand Master that were hung on the dais. Approaching them one by one, he paid his respects by draping a large garland of flowers over each portrait.
Spiritual Discourse and Initiation
Following this, Sant Baljit Singh Ji began to address the attendees and deliver a spiritual discourse. For the next four hours, attendees listened with riveted attention as Sant Baljit Singh Ji spoke in detail on various spiritual topics and explained the depth and intricacies of a tapestry of spiritual wisdom. While explaining the attributes of God, Sant Baljit Singh Ji said, ”God is formless. The entire universe is His body, it is His form but He Himself is formless because God exists in everything. Wherever you go, He is there.”
God is formless.
The entire universe is His body, it is His form but He Himself is formless because God exists in everything.
Wherever you go, He is there.
Sant Baljit Singh Ji
After the discourse, Sant Baljit Singh Ji spent an hour walking among the attendees. He walked through all the sections of the entire seating area while devotional songs were sung. Attendees were filled with spiritual bliss as they enjoyed the devotional songs and the closer proximity of Sant Baljit Singh Ji.
On March 9, Sant Baljit Singh Ji gave the holy gift of Naam Daan to the spiritual seekers, who received initiation into the meditation of the inner Light and Sound. While these spiritual seekers stayed after the spiritual discourse to attend Naam Daan, many other attendees also remained. These attendees were eager to have darshan of Sant Baljit Singh Ji once again. They enjoyed the sight of Sant Baljit Singh Ji, sitting along the pathway during his arrival and departure for Naam Daan.
Charitable activities in Nagpur
Sant Baljit Singh Ji, in his teachings, always emphasizes the principles of service to humanity. Honoring his teachings, VMRK also organized multiple charitable activities. From March 1 to March 9, VMRK conducted medical camps, a blood donation camp, and distributed hygiene kits and educational materials. These charitable activities were organized at the event grounds and extended to surrounding areas within a radius of 150 kilometers.
Medical and hygiene camps
VMRK hosted a free medical camp for the general public at the event grounds from March 6–9. The camp was staffed by a team of 20 doctors, 14 pharmacists, 21 nurses, and 30 volunteers who served in shifts to provide 24-hour medical care. In Nagpur, the month of March is very hot during the daytime. The scorching heat caused many attendees to arrive at the medical camp with symptoms of dehydration. These patients were given rehydrating drinks or prescribed medicines for their medical conditions.
Thousands of patients received medical care, of which more than 30 patients received in-house medical attention at the 10-bed clinical treatment center. Three ambulances were on standby to transport patients with severe health conditions to the nearest hospital for further diagnosis and treatment.
To support the underprivileged community, VMRK organized free medical and hygiene camps in villages and slum areas located within 60 kilometers of Nagpur center. These locations were: Chikna, Waddhamna, Junewani, Sanjay Nagar, Silli, Nildoh, and Davlameti, with an additional hygiene camp conducted at Isasani. Each day, from March 1–8, a team consisting of a doctor, a paramedical staff, two pharmacists, two nurses, and 5–6 volunteers typically left the center at 2 pm. Upon reaching the location, the team was divided into two groups: one group set up the camp, while the other went door-to-door, informing the residents about the camp.
The medical camp usually began in the mid-afternoon. A large number of residents visited the camp, presenting symptoms such as body pain, fungal infections, colds, and coughs. The medical staff provided free consultations and medicines, while also checking blood pressure and providing first aid when necessary.
When the daily wage laborers and farmers returned home from work in the evening, VMRK volunteers conducted hygiene camps alongside the medical camps. This later start time meant the volunteers were able to distribute the kits to as many beneficiaries as possible. The activity began with the team educating the residents on the importance of maintaining hygiene. Then the hygiene kits were distributed.
Throughout these locations, more than 890 individuals received free medical care, and over 1,850 received hygiene kits.
On March 1, 2025, a free medical and hygiene kit distribution camp was organized by VMRK in our area. A team of experienced doctors, pharmacists, nursing and support staff, and volunteers provided free consultation and medicines to 158 underprivileged patients. VMRK has been organizing such community welfare services from place to place on an ongoing basis to help and support the underprivileged individuals. It is a highly praiseworthy work indeed. Our villagers and our Gram Panchayat express gratitude to VMRK for their support.

Blood donation camp
VMRK organized a blood donation camp at its event grounds from March 7–8 in collaboration with the Government Medical College and Hospital, Nagpur. The camp started in the afternoon and continued until evening each day. After undergoing preliminary health check-ups, a total of 78 people successfully donated 78 units (27.3 liters) of blood. Donors who finished donating blood were taken to a resting area and remained there under observation for a short period while they were served some light refreshments.
Donating educational materials to students
VMRK formed nine teams of volunteers who organized and distributed educational materials to more than 2,480 students in 50 schools. Each team was responsible for a certain number of schools within an area. The volunteers first collected and packed the educational materials at the Nagpur center and then transported them to nine VMRK centers that were closest to the schools in their area. On the days of the distribution, the teams left their respective centers to reach as many schools as possible during school hours. A large number of these schools were located in remote areas, surrounded by forests. At one such school, students lacked notebooks and relied solely on slates.
The distribution of educational materials brought immense happiness to all the students at the schools. The school staff often shared that this charitable initiative would also inspire and teach the students the human value of helping those in need.
On March 5, 2025, VMRK donated water bottles, notebooks, geometry boxes, color boxes, and other educational literature to 88 students studying at our school. Parents, dignitaries, teachers, and VMRK volunteers were present during the donation. Our school children come from underprivileged families. The educational materials donated by VMRK have brought happiness to their faces. Never before has any organization stepped in to offer such support. Our students will use the educational items donated by VMRK, and your organization will undoubtedly receive credit for the positive changes that will come in their lives. The work done by VMRK is highly praiseworthy and something to feel proud of. We, the entire school staff and the villagers, convey our heartfelt gratitude to VMRK.
