Sewing machines for widows and wheelchairs for handicapped
In September 2020, the Maharashtra government issued a circular that paved the way for charitable organizations to help farmers’ widows. A month later, in October 2020, the deputy commissioners of Nandurbar and Dhulia invited Vishav Manav Ruhani Kendra to a meeting to discuss assistance for the widows. The deputy commissioners asked us to help them by donating sewing machines and spray pumps for the crops in the fields.
Vishav Manav Ruhani Kendra donated 56 sewing machines with stands and 25 battery spray pumps to the widows in Dhule and Nandurbar. The deputy commissioners in attendance acknowledged the event with a letter of appreciation.
As part of the society, you accepted your responsibility and came forward to help farming families. By providing help to the farming families you have presented an example of charity to the society. Your action will inspire others to serve society. Thank you for your cooperation in the spirit of bringing happiness to the life of others. We hope that you will also cooperate in other activities of the district.

Each year, the Himachal Pradesh government announces targets for its Integrated Rural Development Program (IRDP). In 2021, Vishav Manav Ruhani Kendra was invited to offer assistance to three villages: Kot, Gah, and Koshariyan. These villages are in very remote areas of Himachal Pradesh where there is no road access.
Vishav Manav Ruhani Kendra participated in the program by donating wheelchairs to handicapped persons and 9 sewing machines with stands to widows in the three aforementioned villages. Our volunteers arranged the donations and transported them to the villages by boat across the Gobind Sagar Lake. The heads of the villages officiated at the event.
