School Support Programs 2025: bringing joy to students
Over the years, whenever Vishav Manav Ruhani Kendra (VMRK) donated educational materials, students shared their dreams of pursuing different professions and building a better future. Encouraged by their aspirations, VMRK continued its student support initiatives in 2025, reaching schools across Haryana, Punjab, Maharashtra, Himachal Pradesh, and the Union Territory of Chandigarh.
Identifying schools and assessing student needs
To ensure that support reached those who needed it most, VMRK’s extensive network of local volunteers visited nearby villages, and slum areas. They identified schools with students from families of daily wage earners, tribal communities, and other households with limited resources. Some schools also reached out to VMRK directly after learning about our initiatives through other schools that had received support from us.
At each school, volunteers coordinated with school staff to identify items required based on students’ needs. In many schools, a large number of students carried worn out school bags, while others used makeshift bags. Consequently, school bags were among the most commonly requested items. During the winter season, students in some schools wore ragged sweaters or had none at all. Volunteers recorded the sweater color to match the school uniform and each student’s size. Other frequently requested items included water bottles and stationery kits.
Donating educational materials
VMRK next set out to procure the requested materials, placing a strong focus on durability and quality standards. Our volunteers then prepared a detailed distribution schedule, covering multiple schools each day during school hours.
There were significant challenges reaching schools located in extremely remote areas with limited connectivity. Schools situated in hilly terrain were even more difficult to access. Rainy weather and dense fog often exacerbated these difficulties. Undeterred by such conditions, our volunteers drove slowly as they continued their journey. When the final stretch across the hilly terrain became too narrow, our volunteers proceeded on foot—sometimes for up to five kilometers—carrying educational materials on their backs. Upon arrival, the school staff were pleasantly surprised by the effort VMRK had made to support these students in need.
At many schools, students warmly welcomed our volunteers with customary performances and flowers. Following this, our volunteers distributed educational materials to students individually, grade by grade. We brought extra supplies in case a school needed more than initially requested. As students received their items, their excitement was palpable. Many eagerly began using their supplies right away.
During 2025, VMRK reached more than 790 schools, bringing happiness to over 52,670 underprivileged students. Several of these support programs were organized alongside large-scale events held at VMRK Lighthouse Centers. Firstly, we would like to say that we are deeply grateful to VMRK. On January 17, 2025, VMRK donated educational supplies, including school bags, water bottles, and stationery kits, to 144 children studying at our school. Therefore, the entire Vahanipada village and our school staff would like to say a heartfelt thank you and express our sincere gratitude. Our village is located in the hilly region of the Satpura hills. Even today, the people here are far removed from basic amenities. The entire livelihood of the people depends on farming and daily wage work, and farming itself is dependent on monsoon rains. In such a situation, people do not have access to basic facilities such as education, healthcare, electricity, and clean drinking water. Even today, they feel very isolated from the rest of the world.
Due to these reasons, the income level here is very low, and people are unable to buy even basic necessities for their children. Because of their poor financial condition, they cannot provide their children with items such as clothes and educational materials. In this situation, the donation made by VMRK for the children has been extremely helpful. The educational materials received by the schoolchildren will undoubtedly be used effectively by the students to enhance their education. We hope that VMRK will continue to carry out such initiatives in the future. We pray to God that this organization remains thriving and continues to do such noble work under your leadership.

On December 30, 2025, at GPS Mahadev, VMRK distributed school bags and stationery kits (notebooks, geometry boxes, pencils, sharpeners, erasers, color boxes, etc.) to 80 children. Thank you very much for your donation to our students. Your generosity means a great deal to us. We will pray to God that your organization continues to grow and prosper, and we hope you will visit us again. You are doing great work for society.
