Mata Shri Bajreshwari Devi Temple: Shravan Ashtami Mela 2026
Each year, the Shravan Ashtami Mela (fair) is celebrated at the Mata Shri Bajreshwari Devi Temple with great excitement and enthusiasm. Devotees from all walks of life arrive in huge numbers from across various states of India. They wait in long queues at the temple to offer prayers and have darshan of the Goddess.
Since 2025, Vishav Manav Ruhani Kendra (VMRK) has been offering medical services to devotees during the Navratri celebrations at Mata Shri Bajreshwari Devi Temple. Satisfied with the services offered, the local administration approached VMRK to offer services during Shravan Ashtami Mela 2026 as well. Grateful for another opportunity to serve pilgrims, VMRK quickly made preparations. Starting August 13, 2026, VMRK set up a medical camp at a site allocated within the temple courtyard.
Since many devotees travel long distances and then wait for a long time at the temple, they often reach the camp tired. Some seek relief from body pain, vomiting, and traveler’s diarrhea. The rainy weather is also contributing to colds, coughs, fevers, and slip injuries. Responding to these needs, a team of medical professionals is lovingly providing medical care to devotees throughout the temple’s operating hours.
After Shravan Ashtami Mela 2026 concludes, this blog post will be updated to describe the services offered at Mata Shri Bajreshwari Devi Temple.
