Maharashtra – Feeding the hungry

Vishav Manav Ruhani Kendra centers in Maharashtra cooked and packed food packets, and prepared ration packets. Village to village, door to door, our volunteers assisted the local administration and police to feed the hungry with these donated items.

Mumbai, Navi Mumbai, and Pune

During India’s second wave of the Covid-19 pandemic in 2021, lockdowns imposed around the country left migrant laborers struggling for their daily meals. Vishav Manav Ruhani Kendra (VMRK) volunteers prepared 100 ration kits, each containing 5 kg atta, 3 kg rice, 1 kg daal, 1 liter cooking oil, 1 kg sugar, and bath soap. VMRK volunteers distributed these ration kits at 3 locations: Kharegaon, Karjat, Mumbai; Airoli, Navi Mumbai; and Alandi, Pune.

I would like to say “Thank You” for your good heart for doing this. It was noticed that Vishav Manav Ruhani Kendra’s volunteers were serving these families with so much love, respect, reverence, and enjoying their service. Therefore, I pray to God that Vishav Manav Ruhani Kendra may continue organizing these humanitarian services for the community in the future too and all my best wishes for that.
