Spiritual Discourse February 2026, Pimpalner, Maharashtra
Pimpalner, February 2026
Each year, Vishav Manav Ruhani Kendra (VMRK) celebrates the birth anniversary of our revered Great Grand Master at Lighthouse Center Pimpalner. Always eagerly awaited, this cherished event coincides with the annual visit of Sant Baljit Singh Ji to Pimpalner. His presence invariably brings large crowds together to listen to his spiritual discourse and have his darshan.
This year, Lighthouse Center Pimpalner celebrated two joyous devotional events in the presence of Sant Baljit Singh Ji. First, our Great Grand Master’s birth anniversary was commemorated with deep devotion and enthusiasm on February 7. A week later, VMRK celebrated the auspicious Mahashivratri festival on February 15. Read our blog post: Mahashivratri 2026: A Night of Devotion. Many attendees stayed for both events and spent the week celebrating and enjoying daily darshan of Sant Baljit Singh Ji.
Days leading up to the event
VMRK made extra arrangements, having anticipated that attendees would arrive a few days early and stay until after Mahashivratri. To support this influx, multiple tents provided additional lodging facilities at Lighthouse Center Pimpalner. In addition, a large dining tent was set up near the kitchen to serve food.
At one end of Lighthouse Center Pimpalner, VMRK designated a large open area to host the main event. Pimpalner village sits on a plateau with hilly and uneven terrain. Thus, the event grounds had to be leveled before large tents could be set up. To improve accessibility, VMRK volunteers smoothed the inclined pathway leading to these grounds to give attendees easy and convenient access.
As the event approached, Lighthouse Center Pimpalner, decorated with multicolored tinsel, grew increasingly lively as attendees arrived daily. Everyone beamed with joy as they entered the festive grounds, even those weary from long journeys. Multiple teams of VMRK volunteers lovingly served attendees around the clock. Some teams guided attendees to various on-site services while other teams prepared and served hot food. At the same time, many more teams pitched in with whatever support was needed.
Evening program
On February 7, many attendees took their seats from early morning to secure prime spots for watching Sant Baljit Singh Ji up close during the spiritual discourse. As they waited, they hummed along to devotional songs playing over the loudspeakers across the main event grounds.
At around 6 pm, devotional singers began performing. By then, the main event tents were brimming with the large crowds. Some attendees, eager to see Sant Baljit Singh Ji up close, sat along his pathway, adorned with rangoli of multicolored flower petals. Meanwhile, thirteen large LED screens and a full audio setup carried the proceedings to attendees seated across the event grounds.
Shortly thereafter, Sant Baljit Singh Ji arrived and slowly walked along the pathway to the dais, glancing at the attendees seated on both sides. Upon taking his seat on the dais, the devotional singers called out “Har Har Mahadev” in praise of God Shiva. In response, attendees raised their hands and enthusiastically chanted along, and Sant Baljit Singh Ji joined them by raising his hands. Thereafter, the audience continued to enjoy the devotional songs in his presence.
Spiritual discourse and initiation
When Sant Baljit Singh Ji began the spiritual discourse, the crowds had overflowed far beyond the main event tents. Nearly as many attendees were seated outside the tent as those within it. Sant Baljit Singh Ji captivated the crowd with his words. At times, he spoke with deep insight while the attendees listened attentively; at other moments, his words brought warmth and smiles to their faces.
In a talk lasting over 5 hours, Sant Baljit Singh Ji emphasized the importance of meditation. He remarked, “There is no need to search for anything outside of the body. The nectar of immortality lies within. Do not look outward; turn inward. Meditate; bring your mind within.”

Sant Baljit Singh Ji
After the discourse, Sant Baljit Singh Ji walked among the attendees seated in multiple sections. The attendees welcomed Sant Baljit Singh Ji with radiant smiles, basking in the opportunity of seeing him in close proximity. When little children presented flowers to Sant Baljit Singh Ji, he happily accepted. This continued for nearly an hour, with both the attendees and Sant Baljit Singh Ji sharing in the joy of the moment.
The next day, on February 8, Sant Baljit Singh Ji gave the holy gift of Naam Daan to the spiritual seekers, who received initiation into the meditation of the inner Light and Sound.
Post event darshan program
After the initiation, many attendees stayed on, delighted that each evening, Sant Baljit Singh Ji came out to be with them and the locals who visited daily. While singers performed devotional songs, Sant Baljit Singh Ji walked several times along the pathway, flanked by attendees seated on both sides.
Every evening, attendees enjoyed being in Sant Baljit Singh Ji’s presence for nearly two and a half hours. On some evenings, he gave a short talk before departing with his arm raised as a parting gesture. Attendees cherished each evening’s celebration with joy and looked forward to the days ahead.
Charitable services at Pimpalner
Sant Baljit Singh Ji regularly emphasizes the principles of service to humanity. In one of his teachings, he said, “If we have the resources, we are also responsible for helping to care for those in our community and society.” From February 2 to 10, VMRK honored these selfless-service teachings by offering free medical camps, running a blood donation camp, and distributing hygiene kits and educational materials. These activities were conducted across areas approximately 210 kilometers around Lighthouse Center Pimpalner.
Medical and hygiene camps
VMRK operated a round-the-clock medical camp with a 13-bed clinical treatment center at Lighthouse Center Pimpalner from February 5–10. To support this effort, VMRK stationed five ambulances across the venue to transport patients with severe conditions to the nearest hospital. Then on February 7, VMRK set up an additional medical camp near the main event tents to help people arriving to attend the spiritual discourse.
The warm event days and much colder nights left many attendees feeling unwell. That prompted them to seek treatment for colds, coughs, fevers, and dehydration. Throughout the event, thousands received free medical consultations, first aid, and medicines from the team of 13 doctors, 15 pharmacists, 5 nurses, 11 paramedical staff, and 67 volunteers. At the same time, more than 50 patients received medical care at the clinical treatment center.
VMRK volunteers scouted surrounding underprivileged communities to identify suitable locations for medical camps and selected four villages—Harpada, Malyachapada, Darichapada, and Dhankhedi. They learned that these villages lie in a region of Maharashtra known for its high prevalence of Sickle Cell Anemia, a hereditary blood disorder. Therefore, our volunteers arranged sufficient medication to address this health concern. Our volunteers also observed gaps in sanitation practices across these villages, prompting them to organize hygiene camps there too.
A team of 11 medical professionals and VMRK volunteers worked together to conduct the medical camps at these locations. After the patients were treated, our volunteers ran the hygiene camps to distribute hygiene kits and educate residents about the importance of personal hygiene. Throughout the initiative, more than 390 patients received medical assistance, and over 1,130 hygiene kits were distributed.
Blood donation camp
VMRK organized a three-day blood donation camp at Lighthouse Center Pimpalner from February 6 to 8 in collaboration with the Government Hospital, Nandurbar. The camp began each morning and continued until evening. 229 people underwent preliminary health check-ups before they donated 229 units (80.15 liters) of blood. After donating, donors rested in a recovery area for brief observation and light refreshments.
Donating educational materials to students
Two months prior to the event, VMRK reached out to 64 schools in communities facing financial hardship. These included daily wage-earning families, farming families, and tribal families some of whom rely completely on forest produce for their livelihood. After assessing the specific needs of each school, volunteers distributed educational materials to more than 4,740 students in these schools.
It is with great pleasure that we inform you that, on behalf of your organization, VMRK, all 116 students of our school have received school bags, water bottles, and other essential educational materials (notebooks, pencils, color boxes, etc.). We, and our entire Gujarbhwali village, express our heartfelt thanks for this generosity.
Our village is located in a rural area where most families depend on farming and manual labor. Due to financial circumstances, many parents are unable to provide their children with quality educational materials. In such a situation, the assistance you have provided will prove to be vital support for these children’s bright futures.
The students are not only excited to receive these materials but are also more motivated to pursue their education. Once again, on behalf of our school administration, all the villagers, and the 116 students, we express our sincere gratitude to you. We pray to God that your organization continues its noble work of serving humanity and spreading education.
