Delhi – Feeding the hungry

Vishav Manav Ruhani Kendra cooked and packed food packets that consisted of 4 puri with sabji, or rice with dal, or vegetable pulao, or 3 chapattis with sabji. The Delhi center also packed and donated ration packets. Each 10 kg ration packet contained 5 kg atta, 1 kg daal, 1 kg rice, 1 kg salt, and 250 ml mustard oil.

We appreciate the efforts of you and your organization Vishav Manav Ruhani Kendra for providing more than 20,000 meals and 3,600 dry ration kits, to poor and affected people during this COVID-19 emergency period. Please continue to do the good work and we look forward to your continued cooperation.

Manish Sisodia, Deputy Chief Minister, Delhi

Our volunteers accompanied the local administration and police on their village-to-village and door-to-door visits, to distribute these donated hot food meals and ration packets to people in need. On April 21, 2020, Nej News reported on the distribution of donated food packets.
