Sant Baljit Singh Ji
The Spiritual Discourse and Initiation
On February 10, the day of the spiritual discourse, attendees gathered at the event venue with eager anticipation of Sant Baljit Singh Ji’s arrival. Eighteen large LED screens and audio equipment were installed across the event grounds to give attendees a closer view of the program especially for those seated far away from the dais.
That evening, as Sant Baljit Singh Ji walked towards the dais, people lined both sides of the pathway to warmly greet him with folded hands.
The event began with devotional songs, filling up the attendees with spiritual bliss in the presence of Sant Baljit Singh Ji. Following which, he addressed the attendees and gave a talk for about three hours. In a lively and thought-provoking talk Sant Baljit Singh Ji explained the importance and necessity of a spiritual teacher when treading the path of spirituality. Quoting verses from the previous Masters and Saints, he elaborated on the vital role of the Master in attaining God realization.
Afterwards, Sant Baljit Singh Ji walked among the attendees who were overjoyed with having his darshan in close proximity.
The next day, on February 11, Sant Baljit Singh Ji gave the holy gift of Naam Daan to the spiritual seekers who received initiation into the meditation of the inner Light and Sound.
In addition, on the evenings of February 11, 12 and 13, Sant Baljit Singh Ji spent about an hour walking amongst the attendees who stayed after the main program. The ambiance created each day was truly mesmerizing, as children presented flowers to Sant Baljit Singh Ji, and attendees enjoyed the devotional songs sung by professional singers.
The spiritual atmosphere, cultural unity, and joyous celebrations made this event memorable.
Charitable services at Pimpalner
VMRK, inspired by the teachings of Sant Baljit Singh Ji on serving humanity, organizes various charitable activities throughout the year. These activities are notably amplified on special occasions such as Navratri, Guru Purnima, and during spiritual discourses. For more information, read our blog posts:

This year too, VMRK conducted multiple charitable activities from February 1-12, 2024. Medical and blood donation camps were organized and hygiene kits and educational materials were distributed. Volunteers from different areas formed teams to meticulously plan the activities, procure the supplies, pack the educational and hygiene materials, and execute these charitable activities.
Medical and hygiene camps
VMRK hosted two free medical camps at its Pimpalner center 24 hours daily. A team of 48 medical professionals provided medical services to thousands of patients. The doctors, paramedical, and nursing staff provided free health check-ups, medical consultation, and medicines to patients. Volunteers with wheelchairs were stationed for patient assistance, and a fully-equipped onsite ambulance was on standby for emergency services. At the 11-bed Clinical Treatment Centre, more than 320 patients received emergency medical assistance.
VMRK also organized medical camps in slum areas at Devalipad, Dhaner, Dunkaripada, Holychapada, Karanzati, Machamala, Nandwan, and Shevage, all within 35 kilometers of Pimpalner center. Each camp was served by one doctor, one pharmacist, two nursing staff, and eight to ten volunteers. More than 770 patients received medical assistance with the majority of patients experiencing symptoms such as cold, cough, fever, body ache, and joint pain.

Blood donation camp
A 3-day blood donation camp was organized by VMRK at the Pimpalner center in collaboration with the Government Hospital, Nandurbar. After undergoing preliminary health check-ups, a total of 235 people successfully donated 235 units (94 liters) of blood. Donors who finished donating blood were taken to a resting area and remained there under observation for a short period while they served some light refreshments.
Donating educational materials to students
VMRK conducted an extensive drive to provide educational materials, benefitting over 8,100 underprivileged students in 120 schools. Multiple teams of volunteers visited these schools located within a radius of 200 kilometers from the center at Pimpalner to provide educational materials.
Mhasdi is a tribal village where the majority of people are farmers and laborers. Their children study in government schools but cannot afford educational materials. On February 1, 2024, in response to our request, Vishav Manav Ruhani Kendra (VMRK) through its Pimpalner center, donated school bags, water bottles, pencil, pencil sharpeners, erasers to 158 underprivileged students of our school. VMRK’s volunteers traveled 6 kilometers to reach the school and distributed these items for free. The children were very glad and grateful to receive the educational materials. We, the school staff, also felt the same happiness with what VMRK did for us. We are grateful to Sant Baljit Singh Ji, the spiritual head of VMRK. Thank you.
