PGIMER, Chandigarh

When Vishav Manav Ruhani Kendra (VMRK) contacted PGI to enquire about the hospital’s needs, the PGI’s superintendent told us: “The doctors wear PPE kits and feel warm so they need air conditioning. But the patients are cold using the air conditioner. So, we are really in need of thick blankets.”

The institution also shared that they have to put employees on duty in front of the gates and doors with sanitizer bottles to sanitize visitors’ hands. Upon VMRK enquiring what would help with this situation, the superintendent noted that automatic hand sanitizers with sensors would help the institution save manpower and ensure safety.

Vishav Manav Ruhani Kendra responded by donating hand sanitizers with sensors and blankets to PGIMER in August 2020.

My sincere thanks to your organization for this generous donation to the PGIMER, Chandigarh, towards the management of COVID-19 patients. Your donation is greatly appreciated and will help in supporting the ability to respond to the COVID-19 pandemic in the best possible manner.
